Architectural design and interior design services for the complete modernization of the Department of Gastro-Intestinal Endoscopy, located in an existing 9,000 sf space in the North Wing. The design provides for three procedure rooms and one clinical room featuring Fluoroscopy capability. Other spaces include scope cleaning, scope processing and decontamination rooms, patient recovery rooms, staff and patient lockers, supply storage, nurses workstations, reception and administrative support spaces.
The program features new and upgraded air distribution and ventilation systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, telephone, data, TV, nurse call systems, medical gases and building management systems. A “Swing Space” was created to temporarily house the Gastro-Intestinal department during construction.
