Prior to founding ThinkForm, Russell DiNardo and Michael Crackel collaborated in the studio of world renowned architect Michael Graves. As the Project Architect/Project Manager for Nishinippon Institute of Technology, Kokura Campus, Russell was part of the integrated project team that included the Owner, Michael Graves, owner’s representatives, and the designers and builders on site in Kitakyushu, Japan. Russell’s experience with this project reflects his ability to resolve complex site and building challenges by patiently, but efficiently, developing design ideas that are responsive to the local and cultural context. Russell’s expertise for connecting an Owner’s program with thoughtful planning and design contributed to the success of this project.
Russell has applied the same sense of responsibility through thoughtful design and realization of an Owner’s vision in ThinkForm’s design philosophy and studio culture.
