The design for the new 20,000sf medical arts building seeks to position the owner’s health and wellness brand through the architecture and materials. The primary exterior architectural feature, abstractly reminiscent of the human spine curvature, utilizes metal struts along the curved canopies. Seeking simple sophistication in the design, the materials of stone, metal, and glass give a sense of permanence and seek to convey a care in detail also found in the services of the healthcare providers within. The facility programming and planning include two floors of flexible health and wellness functions, including an outpatient surgical center.
