The Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown is a 168-bed nursing home facility offering two levels of care: standard care for veterans in need of any intermediate level of care and memory care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. The scope of work for this project includes a new building additions and renovation to the existing nursing home facility. The 90,400sf addition will be completed prior to the 56,280sf renovations to enable a safe transition of residents. All construction will be done with minimal disruption to residents. The Design adheres to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Small House (SH) Design Guide; Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) which requires that all iron and steel, construction materials, and manufactured products used in federally-funded infrastructure projects are produced in the United States.
